The Revenant, the intense survival drama that earned Leonardo DiCaprio his first Academy Award for Best Actor as well as awards for director Alejandro G. Iñárritu and cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, debuts in September on HBO.

Also arriving in September are the comedies Sisters with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip with animated rodents and the horror film The Forest with Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer, the Stand Up to Cancer event (it streams a day after the live show), the original series High Maintenance (which began as a web series and now comes to HBO with new episodes), and the nightly news program Vice News Tonight, which debuts at the end of the month.

And years after it left the channel, the groundbreaking HBO original series The Larry Sanders Show (HBO’s original “must watch” series) is finally back to watch in its entirety.

Other highlights include Oscar-winning film The English Patient (1996) with Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche, Children of Men (2006) with Clive Owen, Michael Clayton (2007) with George Clooney, Ghost World (2001) with Thora Birch and Scarlett Johansson, and Wes Anderson’s Rushmore (1998) with Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray.
