Amazon Prime Video announced a new exclusive offering for the month of October: the entire Back to the Future trilogy will be available to all Prime members for the 31 days of October.
The timing is no coincidence: in Back to the Future II, Marty and Doc Brown travel to the far flung future of October 21, 2015, where hoverboards have replaced skateboards.
The original Back to the Future was released in the summer of 1985 and celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year with all-new DVD and Blu-ray special editions (available on October 20, a day before the fateful date of BTTFII). Expect some cagey cross-marketing from Amazon, which is taking pre-orders of the set.
But if you don’t need to own it, you have 31 days to stream it starting Thursday, October 1. And you can bet that some sly fans will be binging the trilogy on Wednesday, October 21.
Add to watchlist:
Back to the Future
Back to the Future: Part II
Back to the Future: Part III
Pre-order the discs from Amazon:
Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Trilogy [DVD]
Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Trilogy [Blu-ray + Digital HD]
