Coming and Going on HBO Now in May 2018

Michael Shannon and Michael B. Jordan in the 2018 adaptation of the Ray Bradbury novel

The HBO Original movie Fahrenheit 451, based on the novel by Ray Bradbury and starring Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon, and Christopher Nolan’s immersive World War I drama Dunkirk, which was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won three for editing and sound, come to HBO Now, HBO Go, and HBO On Demand in May.

Also coming in May are the award-winning American independent drama Patti Cake$ and acclaimed British drama Lady Macbeth, the animated The Lego Ninjago Movie, and the documentary The Final Year, which chronicles President Barack Obama’s last year in office.

Among the older films returning to HBO are James Cameron’s Avatar, David Cronenberg’s Maps to the Stars, Australian thriller Dead Calm with Nicole Kidman, and the 1963 epic Cleopatra with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Among the films leaving at the end of May are John Wick: Chapter 2 with Keanu Reeves, Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino, superhero movies X-Men: Apocalypse and the 2003 Daredevil, and William Friedkin’s The Exorcist.
