Coming and Going on HBO Now in November 2017

Get Out, Jordan Peele’s smart, sly, satirical horror film with a social slant on race in America, makes its HBO debut and Jon Stewart hosts the all-star benefit Night of Too Many Stars: America Unites for Autism Programs in November.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney directs the two-part documentary Rolling Stone: Stories from the Edge, which leads a slate of non-fiction programming that includes the documentaries War Dog: A Soldier’s Best Friend and Baltimore Rising, and a new season of Sesame Street begins with a Thanksgiving special.

Also coming on November: the family friendly animated feature The Lego Batman Movie, historical drama A United Kingdom with David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike, international epic The Great Wall from China with Matt Damon, and monster movie spectacles Kong: Skull Island and Warcraft. Older films returning to HBO include The Fast and the Furious and sequels 2 Fast 2 Furious and Fast & Furious, Good Morning, Vietnam with Robin Williams, and Clint Eastwood’s Pale Rider.

Among the films leaving at the end of November are Legend with Tom Hardy, sci-fi spectacle Independence Day: Resurgence, family comedy Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, and Oscar winners The Deer Hunter, Good Will Hunting, and Shakespeare in Love.
