Watch This! The new ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’ Coming to Netflix

The Netflix reboot of MST3K from creator Joel Hodgson stars Jonah Ray, Felicia Day, and Patton Oswalt

Almost twenty years after the final curtain of Mystery Science Theater 3000 on the Sci-Fi Channel, the bots and the bad movies are back and Netflix has them.

Joel Hodgson, co-creator of the original series, spearheaded the revival of the beloved Mystery Science Theater 3000, the show that turned heckling the movies into appointment TV. Comedian Jonah Ray is the new “test subject” trapped on the Satellite of Love with Crow, Tom Servo, Gypsy, and Cambot and fed a steady diet of the worst movies ever made, which he and the bots heckle to the delight of viewers everywhere.

Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt join the cast of this reboot (as Kinga Forrester and TV’s Son of TV’s Frank, respectively) and Hodgson, the original host, will take his place behind the camera.

The show was revived with the help of a Kickstarter campaign spearheaded by Hodgson and Shout! Factory

The new season of 14 episodes arrives on Netflix on April 14. We’ve got movie sign!
